- Goals:
The Surround Learning Center (SLC) functions as an integral part of the total educational program at Magnificat High School. Our purpose is to provide tools, resources and professional support through specific and emerging technologies in a way that stimulates problem-solving, critical/creative thinking, collaboration, communication and life-long learning. We support the implementation of the curriculum and its foundational principles, global orientation, the needs and interests of all students, and learning experiences that provide college readiness in research, media, and communication. Our name indicates our essential connection with the Surround Learning Project and our pivotal role in linking the acquisition of information, its effective communication through various media, and the creation of new knowledge. - What We Provide:
