All students have the opportunity to take four years of mathematics (3 years are required). They use a scientific or graphing calculator and the computer on all levels and have daily homework (30-60 minutes in honors courses). Each student must own a scientific calculator, such as the Texas Instrument TI-34; honor students must have a graphing calculator for their junior and senior years. In all classes, students solve problems involving real world applications, verbalize math concepts and share ideas with each other.
