THEOLOGY
The Theology curriculum has a dual focus: to promote and enrich the faith dimension of each student and to relate the principles reflected in course content to life experience. Theology is an academic discipline which requires systematic study and accountability. The program promotes the personal, spiritual and academic growth, service and leadership of each student. Each Magnificat student is required to complete one year-long course or two semester courses in Theology each year. Freshman and sophomore programs develop fundamental concepts of Catholic theology. Juniors and seniors pursue courses in which they are given the opportunity to develop their own prayer life and the ability to make life decisions rooted in faith.
For a detailed list of course offerings, please see the curriculum guide.
