Kaleigh Leneghan ‘16
ALUMNAE SCHOLARSHIP
Kaleigh Leneghan ‘16, a student at St. Columbkille Parish School, was selected by the Alumnae Board in December 2011 to be the next recipient of the Alumnae Scholarship. Kaleigh has shown great leadership ability through her extensive volunteer work and her many co-curricular activities, including volleyball, softball and student council. She also is an accomplished harpist. Kaleigh’s mother, Gymnastics Coach Meg Griffin Leneghan ‘87, and her grandmother, former Gymnastics Coach Patricia Mahoney Griffin* (Lourdes) are both members of the Magnificat Athletic Hall of Fame. Kaleigh’s aunts are both Magnificat graduates as well—Molly Griffin Stottner ’85 and Patricia Griffin Malerich ’93.
The amount awarded for the Magnificat Alumnae Scholarship is $2,500 per year and is renewable each year provided the recipient maintains a 3.5 GPA and remains in good disciplinary standing.
