NAMED ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS
WHAT'S IN A NAME?
If you are talking about Magnificat High School, the answer could be... a scholarship. Paying tribute to daughters and sons, aunts and uncles, parents, friends and teachers, over 110 scholarships have been established through the Named Endowed Scholarship Program. Each year, these scholarships provide over 200 students with financial assistance.
The Scholarship Program is an invaluable tool to ensure that our student body remains economically and socially diverse. We believe that the educational opportunities at Magnificat should be available to any qualified student who truly desires it.
Your Named Endowed Scholarship:
- Can be funded over a 5-year period,
- Needs to reach a value of $10,000 before distribution begins,
- Is invested in MHS Endowment Fund, and
- Generates annual scholarship dollars.

I am the second of four children in my family. I had wanted to go to Magnificat for as long as I can remember. With the help of scholarships, that dream became possible... Student '05 I have been blessed because Magnificat is a special school, and it would be hard to go there without a scholarship. Magnificat is unique. Student '10 I attended Magnificat from 1957 -1961 and realize more and more with each passing year what a SPECIAL and rewarding experience it was for me. As children we don't always appreciate what our parents do for us. I wanted to establish four scholarships for the four years I attended Magnificat. Alumna '61 |
