Spring Break begins April 17

Magnificat wished everyone a blessed Easter Season. Spring Break begins on Thursday, April 17 and classes resume on Monday, April 28, 2014.

Spring Art Show, “Express Yourself”

Come enjoy the beautiful, original artwork of Magnificat students at the annual Spring Art Show on Wednesday, May 7 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. This year’s theme is “Express Yourself,” and will include a “selfie” photograph of each of the participants with her artwork. This is a free event and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. 

Spring Band & Choral Concert

Come hear a Michael Jackson hit mix, The March of the Lady Bugs, Jupiter and music from Frozen–the animated picture of the year. 
This free event is open to the public and takes place in the Magnificat Center for the Performing Arts.

Dance Concerts–Dreamer

Beautiful DayThursday & Friday, May 15 & 16, 7:30 p.m.

Watch the award-winning Magnificat Dance Team as they perform many of the original works that have earned them a national title in a performance they have entitled Dreamer.

This event is open to the public and takes place in the Magnificat Center for the Performing Arts. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for students/seniors. You can purchase tickets at

Mothers’ Club Spring Luncheon

 Sunday, May 18, Noon-2:30 p.m.

The Magnificat Mothers’ Club invites all students and incoming freshmen, and the special women in their lives, to join them for the Annual Spring Luncheon on Sunday, May 18 from Noon-2:30 p.m. at Magnificat High School. Blue Streaks Through River 5K Run & 1-mile Fun Run/Walk

Magnificat will celebrate the 15th year of the Annual Blue Streaks Through River 5K on Sunday, May 25 with the addition of a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk and face painting for children. Last year, 260 runners and walkers participated, and the Alumnae Board-sponsored event raised $3,430 for the Angels in Blue Fund. This vital fund helps Magnificat families in need with school-related expenses. This is the only fundraiser dedicated to supporting the Angels in Blue Fund. The Alumnae Board hopes to have 350 runners and walkers to make this the biggest race ever!
