Visiting the school is highly recommended. Magnificat offers students and parents a diverse variety of opportunities to see all that our school community has to offer.

• 8th Grade Shadowing
  Regular School days September 19 - December 9, 2011
  (Please note: Certain days will be unavailable as the Magnificat School Calendar is subject to change.)
• Shadow a freshman or sophomore and see what a typical high school day is like at Magnificat.
• A shadow reservation must be made 3 days in advance of the visit. Reservations must be made through a student's grade school or by a parent. Call the Admissions Office at 440.331.1572.
• Please arrive at 8:00 a.m., entering through the Main Entrance (off of Hilliard Blvd.), welcome sign will direct students to turn left, end of Main Hall is check-in in Chapel Lobby.
• Wear khakis, dress pants, a skirt or a dress (no jeans, sweats, or tennis shoes please).
• Bring a book to read or some homework.
• Lunch is on us! Magnificat provides students with a lunch pass to the cafeteria, but feel free to bring money for the bookstore.
• Classes run from 8:15 a.m. - 3:05 p.m.
  
  
• Open House
  Sunday, October 23, 2011, 11am-2:30pm and Thursday, March 22, 2012, 6-8pm
  This is a marvelous opportunity to tour the school, visit the classrooms, meet the teachers and students and enjoy various student performances in our Performing Arts Center. All Magnificat faculty and staff will be available and ready to answer questions and further detail more information about the school.
  
  
• Parent Information Fair
  Saturday, November 12, 2011, 9-10:30 a.m. or Saturday, November 19, 2011, 9-10:30 a.m.
  A formal presentation, given by members of administration and faculty, detailing the Magnificat experience, is given to parents while students are taking the placement exam.

Take the Scholarship/Placement Exam
The scholarship/placement exam is administered twice in November. Students need to bring two No. 2 pencils and a $20 test fee. Dress comfortably.
