Magnificat offers two methods for payment of tuition: Payment in advance or enrollment in the SMART Tuition Plan. For payment in advance, tuition is billed in June and full payment is due on or before July 1st. A $100 discount is available for payments by cash or check. The SMART Tuition Plan allows you to choose one of the following payment plans:
Monthly - 10 payments due each month July through April
Quarterly - 4 payments due July, October, January, April
Semi-annual - 2 payments due July and January

Magnificat is dedicated to serve a student body that is economically and socially diverse. We recognize the financial commitment necessary for a Magnificat education, and have provided nearly $2 million in tuition assistance to our students this year. The primary source of tuition assistance and scholarships comes from the Magnificat Endowment Fund. Income from the fund, along with gifts from alumnae, private donors and several foundations, allows us to make a Magnificat education affordable for everyone. We are committed to helping interested and dedicated students so that they may experience what Magnificat can be for them—an investment that lasts a lifetime.
Qualifying for Assistance
Families should not hesitate to apply for need-based assistance. All applications are evaluated with attention given to a variety of factors, including family assets and family size. Additional consideration is given to families with a number of children at tuition-charging institutions (including day care, as well as elementary and high schools, and colleges).
Families requesting financial aid and applying for scholarships must fill out a Private School Aid Service (PSAS) application each year. PSAS is an independent organization that evaluates a family's ability to pay tuition. The analysis is then sent to Magnificat. The amount of assistance is determined by the school, and is based on family need and available resources.
Please refer to the Scholarship tab on our website for information about the many scholarship opportunities available to prospective students. In order to qualify, students must take the Magnificat High School Scholarship/Placement Exam in Fall 2014 and complete separate applications for the respective scholarships.
Applying for Aid - Prospective Students
Prospective students wishing to apply for tuition assistance for the 2015-2016 school year, must complete a Private School Aid Service Application. The following links may be used to either print the application or to apply online directly to PSAS. Paper copies of the PSAS application may also be requested from the Admissions Office. Completed applications, along with all supporting documents, must be sent to Private School Aid Service by November 21, 2014. Families that apply will receive an estimate of financial assistance for their 8th grade daughter in early January 2015.
