Moriah House

Joyce Bauer | jmkbauer[at]gmail[dot]com

Monthly, first Saturday and last Sunday

Once a month, Magnificat mothers and daughters serve breakfast and once a month they serve dinner at this West Side Catholic Center shelter for homeless women and children. Many volunteers are needed for this rewarding ministry.

Mothers In Prayer

Prayer is our most powerful gift. This email prayer chain will pass along requests for prayers for members of the Magnificat community who need to be lifted up. Feel free to ask Mary Meler to forward requests!

One-Time Events

Holly Market

Melissa Coughlin | melissa.coughlin[at]oh.rr[dot]com

December 3, 2015

Find the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for friend, in-law, or teacher. Vendors will be selling creative and interesting gifts. Grab your friends and join us for a girls’ night out of fun and fabulous shopping. Volunteers will help with set up and with registering guests.

ASD (All School Dance) Coat Check

January 15, 2016

Mothers help bring order to the chaos of checking coats, high heels, blue blazers, handbags and even the occasional to-go box at the annual all-school dance in January.

Dad Prom

March 13, 2016

The Mothers’ Club helps organize this highlight of the four years, when senior girls get to spend a magical evening with their first true loves—their dads! We collect childhood photos of girls with their fathers or special friends and help decorate the banquet hall.

Senior Prom

The Mothers’ Club organizes decorations, check-in, and “super-prom” activities for the seniors on their special night at LaCentre.
