Apply to Magnificat High School

Thank you for your interest in Magnificat High School! Below you will find the application process for 8th grade students who attend a Catholic grade school and the application process for 8th grade students who attend a public or private, non-Catholic grade school. We look forward to seeing you at Magnificat!

For 8th grade students attending a Catholic grade school

  • 1. Take the HSPT

    Students who receive the highest scores on the HSPT exam will qualify to apply for an Academic Scholarship and will be invited to interview as part of the application process.

    Magnificat will offer the HSPT exam on the dates below. Alternatively, students can submit HSPT scores from another high school to Magnificat by November 15, 2021.

    *Testing with accommodations available.
     
    If your daughter requires accommodations, she must register at least one week before the test date and complete the Testing Accommodation Request Form. Contact School Psychologist Megan Rutkowski at mrutkowski@maghs.org for more information.
     
    An assessment fee of $20 is due on the test date.
  • 2. Apply for Scholarships & Financial Aid

  • 3. Diocesan Application

    Diocesan application, given to students by 8th grade teachers in January of each year.
  • 4. Grades and Test Scores

    6th, 7th, 8th Grade standardized test scores and grade reports (Catholic grade school will send directly to Magnificat)
  • 5. Teacher Recommendation

    Teacher Recommendation (provided as part of the Diocesan application)
  • 2021 - 2022 Timeline

    January 10, 2022: Applications Distributed to Students 
    January 10-13, 2022: High School Selection Week
    January 14, 2022: Selection Deadline for Students
    February 9, 2022: Decision Letters Mailed by High Schools
