• How much is each raffle ticket?

  Tickets are $10 each

• How many tickets do I need to sell?

  Each student’s minimum responsibility is $300, which can be met in any combination of tickets, ads, or sponsorships. Many students exceed their minimums to help Magnificat reach our Night in Blue fundraising goal!

• When is the deadline to sell ads/sponsorships or tickets?

  All ads and sponsorships must be turned in by October 4. Ticket sales end on November 7 at 11:59 p.m.

• What is the difference between selling an ad, sponsorship, and tickets?

  An ad will be displayed in our annual NIB Ad book. It’s a great way to give a company shout out! A sponsorship would be an event sponsor as indicated by the sponsorship form. Typically a sign is created for the sponsor and displayed at the NIB event. Tickets are sold online and enter the buyer into the grand prize raffle. Any ad, sponsorship, or tickets sold go towards a student's minimum.

• How do I sell ads/sponsorships or tickets?

  All these items can be sold online using the student’s unique URL, which was emailed to them in September. 

• Are there paper tickets available to sell?

  Students who wish to sell paper tickets must first email the NIB office and put in a request (nibticketrequest@maghs.org). The NIB office will then reply back with when and where to pick up your paper tickets. All unsold tickets must be returned back to the NIB office. Limited quantities are available.

• Where does the money go that is raised through NIB?

  The proceeds from Night in Blue directly benefit each student by allowing us to continue and expand the holistic academic, co-curricular, leadership, and faith-formation programming that makes Magnificat so unique!

• Are there prizes for selling ads/sponsorships/tickets?

  Yes! There are fun incentives and prizes all throughout the NIB season. There are also prizes for the students who sell the most in ads, sponsorships, and/ or tickets.

• Does the class who sold the most tickets receive an incentive?

  Yes, the class that makes the greatest contribution monetarily to the Night in Blue drive will win theming rights to the All-School Dance.

• When is the drawing for the winning tickets?

  The Grand Prize drawing will take place on Nov. 8 at 9 p.m.

• If I sell the winning ticket do I win anything?

  Yes, you will win cash if you sell any of the 3 winning tickets!

• What is Night in Blue?

  Night in Blue is a fun community event in which the school is transformed into a carnival, pasta dinner, bingo hall, and so much more! There is a Kid’s Korner for younger kids to play, which is run by our very own Magnificat Students, and a Grandparents Room for Grandparents to eat pasta and receive a special gift. The entire event begins with Mass at 4 p.m. in the PAC.

• What happened to the Sentimental Sleepover prize for the winning class?

  The Sentimental Sleepover has become the Senior Sentimental Sleepover, a special night for Seniors to spend the night in the school and have fun before graduation. The winning class of NIB will now receive a different prize.

• How can I show my class spirit while competing in NIB?

  Sell those tickets, ads, and sponsorships! Wear your class sweatshirts! Show up to NIB! Help your class win the NIB free day off!

• How do I sell tickets to my out-of-state friend or relative?

  Please contact the NIB office to sell tickets to your out-of-state relatives or friends at nibticketrequest@maghs.org or have them call the office at 440-895-2080 to make a purchase.

• What is the Grand Prize for the winning ticket?

  The Grand Prize is $15,000 for the winning ticket!

• What happens if I sell over my minimum?

  You will be entered into special raffles for a variety of prizes.

• What happens if we hit our schoolwide goal?

  The entire school will receive a day off!

• Who attends Night in Blue?

  The entire Magnificat Community is invited to attend! There is also a special Grandparents Room in the LGI where Grandparents will receive a special gift.

• Why should I attend Night in Blue?

  To have FUN with your friends and family! Not only this, but if you stay for the Grand Prize drawing you will have a chance to win $100 cash! Students can simply scan the Student Attendance QR Code posted in the GYM before the 9 p.m. Grand Prize Drawing. One winner per grade will be selected. You must be present to WIN!
