Cleveland Rivals Unite
The Cleveland Rivals Unite Alumnae Giving Challenge is returning this spring for the third year, with Magnificat, Saint Joseph Academy, and Beaumont School teaming up to champion all-girls Catholic education. From April 28-30, 2026, alumnae are invited to step up to the plate, show their school spirit, and make a gift to their alma mater’s annual fund. The school with the highest percentage of alumnae who participate will take home the win.
Last year, 490 donors rallied to contribute a total of $45,000 to the Magnificat Fund during the challenge. Yet even with that strong showing, alumnae participation still trails that of boys’ schools. The Cleveland Rivals Unite Alumnae Giving Challenge aims to strengthen the philanthropic power of Catholic girls’ schools, joining similar friendly competitions taking place across Ohio and around the country.
As spring approaches, stay tuned for play-by-play updates on how you can join the team, boost Magnificat’s stats, and help lead the Blue Streaks to victory in the 2026 Cleveland Rivals Unite Alumnae Giving Challenge.
Additional Rules
1) Challenge is based on percentage of alumnae participation, not the amount of dollars raised.
2) Participation percentage is based on the number of all living alumnae in each schools’ database, including those without contact info or do not contact codes.
Participation is based on Annual Fund donations received – NOT PLEDGED - from April 28-30 at midnight.
3) Alumna participation of major gifts, scholarships, endowments, event-funded gifts and are not included in the challenge. Only gifts made to each school’s Annual Fund.
4) An alumna can give more than once but will only be counted one time in the percentage of giving for her school.
5) An alumna cannot give on behalf of another alumna.

Celebrate the success of the Cleveland Rivals Unite challenge with alumnae from Beaumont School, Magnificat, and Saint Joseph Academy! Save the date for Thursday, April 30, from 5:30-7:30 p.m.! $20 includes your first drink, all non-alcoholic beverages, and snacks. This event is an open house, so feel free to come and go as you please! Stay tuned for more updates.
