Parent & Guardian Engagement

Each year, Magnificat families contribute to the success of the school through various events spearheaded by volunteers. Night in Blue, Holly Market, Fish Fries, and the Reverse Raffle are just a few of the activities organized by the Mothers’ and Fathers’ Clubs. In an effort to better coordinate efforts, increase efficiency, and encourage as many families to participate as possible, the two clubs are coming together under one umbrella beginning in the 2022-2023 school year.

The new name will be the Family Association of Magnificat (FAM) Network, led by current Mothers’ and Fathers’ Clubs Coordinator Colleen Carr '14. There will continue to be no dues, and chairs will lead each activity. New this year, there will be Class Ambassadors representing parents/guardians from each grade, helping to engage families that are new to Magnificat or have not been involved as volunteers in the past. Anyone involved in raising a Magnificat student — mother, father, guardian, stepparent, grandparent, etc.— is encouraged to participate!
