Summer Programs

Magnificat offers a summer of opportunity for girls! The Summer Enrichment Program gives rising seventh and eighth graders a glimpse of life as a Magnificat student. Magnificamp provides younger girls with a variety of themed day camps, from baking to STEM to unicorns, and our popular Athletic Camps help players up their game.   • Registration

    Registration is online only. When registering your child, please use her grade level for the 2023-2024 school year. We reserve the right to cancel any camp or program. Camp t-shirts may not be available for late registrants. 

    Some camps fill up early! To join our mailing list for updates, please complete our Inquiry Form (only asterisked fields required) to keep informed of registration dates.
  • Cancellation Policy

    The refund deadline for athletic camps is 2 weeks prior to the start of camp. Please submit your refund request via email to Paul Barlow at  pbarlow@maghs.org to request an athletic camp refund. A $25 fee per registration will be deducted from the requested refund. 

    The refund deadline for Magnificamps and the Summer Enrichment Program was May 1, 2023, and the last day to register for Magnificamps was May 19, 2023. Summer Enrichment Program registrations accepted until full. 
  • Absences/Tardiness/Illness

    If your child is unable to attend one day due to illness or if your child will arrive late, we ask that you email Hannah Summerville-Miller at hsummerville@maghs.org as soon as possible stating the child’s name and camp.

    We have a full-time nurse, Marybeth McCormick, R.N., on campus with us for each day of camp. If a child feels ill or has an injury, she will be escorted to the camp nurse. The nurse will directly communicate with the family to discuss the situation and potential next steps. You can reach Mrs. McCormick at mmccormick@maghs.org.

  • Schedule

    All summer programs are half days.

    Magnificamp/Athletic Camp Schedule:
    • 7:30-8:20 a.m. Early drop-off ($30 per week)
    • 8:20-8:30 a.m. Regular drop-off 
    • 8:30-11:30 a.m. Morning camps
    • 12:00-3:00 p.m. Afternoon camps 
    • 3:00-4:00 p.m. Late pick-up ($30 per week)
    Summer Enrichment Program Schedule:
    • 7:45 a.m. Arrival
    • 8-10:30 a.m. Groups rotate through three 45-minute sessions (Health and Wellness, STEM, and Art and Nature)
    • 10:30-11 a.m. Lunch
    • 11-11:45 a.m. Leadership
    • 12-3 p.m. Optional Sports Camps (for an additional fee; click here for dates and details
  • Drop-Off and Pick-Up

    Drop-off and Pick-Up Route
    Due to construction around campus, drop-off and pick-up will be different than last year: 
    • The Wagar Road entrance will be closed. 
    • Enter using the Hilliard Blvd. entrance only. 
    • Click here for the drop-off route map. Magnificamp drop-off is at the Main Entrance. 
    • Please drive slowly and carefully follow the signs/camp personnel directing traffic. 
    Drop-off and Pick-Up Times
    Drop-off begins at 8:20 a.m. (morning sessions) and 11:50 a.m. (afternoon sessions). There is no Late Pick-Up for morning camps or Early Drop-Off for afternoon camps. ​Please park and come in the Main Entrance to pick up your camper. 
     
    Early Drop-Off
    All campers who signed up for Early Drop-off will enter the Main Entrance between 7:30- 8:15 a.m. Supervision is not available before 7:30 a.m.
    Late Pick-up
    If your child is signed up for Late Pick-Up 3-4 p.m., pick-ups should occur by 4 p.m. If you arrive past 4 p.m., you will be billed at $1 per minute.
  • Lunch

    Lunches
    If your child is signed up for both a morning and afternoon camp in the same week, we ask that she arrive with a packed lunch each day marked with her first and last name and the morning camp she is attending. Because we are sensitive to the increasing number of allergies among our children, we ask that all lunches are NUT FREE. Supervision will be provided, and all lunches will be refrigerated in our kitchen until lunch time.

    Lunch is included with the Summer Enrichment Program only. 
  • Communication

    We want your child to have an exceptional camp experience. If at any time you find yourself with questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us by contacting Director of Summer Programs Susan Faler at sfaler@maghs.org or 440-331-1572, ext. 291.
  • Attire

    It is summertime, and we want your children to be dressed for the weather. Our buildings are air-conditioned in most spaces, so having a sweatshirt is always a good idea. We do not allow children to wear flip-flops or open-toed shoes for safety reasons.
  • Technology

    Summer camp is all about fun! We ask that Magnificamp students do NOT bring valuable technological devices to school, including but not limited to cell phones, laptops, iPads, etc. Should you need to reach your child during the day, please call the Main Office 440-331-1572. Should your child need to reach you, our instructors will provide her access to a school phone.
  • Streaks Boutique

    The Streaks Boutique will be open Thursdays, June 15, 22, and June 29 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m., stocked with Magnificat spirit wear. You can also order online and pick up from the Main Office.
