Welcome to the next level of artistic exploration in Advanced Acting, a dynamic course tailored for students who are ready to master more advanced opportunities and learning objectives in the performance art of acting! In this course, students will continue to grow as performers and artists through a deeper study of acting for the theatre.  Students will be introduced to several different and diverse acting techniques, including those of Stanislavksi and Checkhov, the Method Acting approach and Uta Hagen’s Technique.  Students will sharpen their skills through engaging exercises of improvisation, scene work, character analysis and development, exercises for vocal and physical technique and quality.  Additionally, students will acquire valuable insights into audition techniques for acting, how to prepare for auditions, resume writing and building, and artistic maturity and self confidence.  Join us as we delve into the intricacies of advanced acting, empowering you to become a versatile and accomplished artist on the stage.
