Magnificat's Parent Engagement Program is designed to empower parents to be more involved and included in the Magnificat experience and community. Through parent events (supportive and educational), volunteering, and academic updates, parents will live the Mission of the school by playing a key role in growing and strengthening our community in an inclusive and equitable way.
In November and December, Magnificat hosted a four-part series that explored ways to change habits, manage time, become more organized, set goals, and solve problems. Keynote speakers included Life Coach and Therapist Melanie Murawski Shmois ’95, Director of SMARTS Programs Michael Greschler, M.Ed., Case Western Reserve University Associate Professor Ellen Brooks Van Oosten, Ph.D. '83, Closet Factory Senior Designer Cassie Griffin, Magnificat Executive Functioning Coach Emily Benni, M.Ed., and Magnificat School Psychologist and Director of Student Support Services Megan Stroh Rutkowski, Ed.S.
